A subject I enjoy studying this semester Blog 8

 
Hello everyone

 

Today I am going to talk you about the subject that I like to study the most this semester of my career.

The subject is called architecture and earthquake, corresponding to the fifth semester of the architecture career, the teacher is called Verónica Vargas and her assistant is called Rocío Gil.

The schedule that this subject took was on Wednesday morning, the teachers mainly passed the matter to us orally and accompanied it with a PowerPoint presentation, and sometimes they divided the classes into two, where at the beginning they passed the contents and then they showed us an exercise where we applied the contents.

The main contents of this subject were to show us how to structure a building in the best way, taking into account all the variables that this presents, they taught us from the most general, such as what is an earthquake, types of soils, technical drawing of structural plans, to more specific things like center of mass, center of stiffness, foundation design and retaining wall design.

I really liked this subject because I found the content interesting, I think it is very important to take into account everything they taught us when designing a building, although the main reason that it is my favorite subject was because of the teachers, I think they are very good at teaching and create a very good atmosphere in the classes.

Today I'm going to talk to you about one of my favorite photos This photo was taken in my final year of high school degree, that was in November 2018, It was taken by an unknown person, by the typical people who are going to take photos a little before the mass or commemorative events begin and then sell them when they finish. The photo s hows my best friends and me before I started my high school degree, we became friends in 9th and 10th grade so in 11th and 12th grade we were in different courses, so we took advantage of that last time to be together in our middle school uniform.
